I am the author of the multi-award winning Macsen's Treasure series set in fifth-century Arthurian Britain. The series includes INTO THE PATH OF GODS, IN THE SHADOW OF DRAGONS, and THE ANVIL STONE and A LAND BEYOND RAVENS.

Celtic history and Arthurian legend have fascinated me for a long time and I have studied both for nearly thirty years in both the United States and Great Britain. I have also published numerous articles, essays, reviews, short stories and poetry. I am a descendant of the Celtic nations of Wales and Scotland, and enjoy membership in the Historical Novel Society and the International Arthurian Society among many other writing and historical organizations.

Besides being a writer, I have also edited two anthologies of
Celtic poetry, short stories and essays,  as well as for two years acted as Assistant Editor of Bardsong,
the Journal for Celebrating the Celtic Spirit.
